Inclusion Conference

2018 Inclusion Conference

Saturday, June 2nd

10:00 AM – 3:00 PM

Arrupe Hall – Rockhurst University

Kansas City, MO

The Inclusion Conference is a FREE, one-day conference for rising junior and senior high school students. The conference will serve students in the St. Louis Metropolitan, Kansas City Metropolitan, and surrounding areas, alternating between St. Louis and Kansas City each year. The conference aims to provide students with the tools for personal and professional growth, in order to empower them to achieve personal and academic success and pursue higher education.

Students must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average to be eligible for the conference. Although priority will be given to students from under-served areas, ethnic and socioeconomic student populations, all students who are interested and may benefit from the program are encouraged to apply.

The conference will feature workshops led by higher-education professionals, including sessions on personal empowerment and success strategies, as well as tools for academic achievement. There will also be a campus tour of our host campus and mini-presentations from admission counselors, representing a variety of post-secondary institutions. Dress is casual, but please make sure to dress appropriately for the weather. Lunch and snacks will be provided.

The conference will be held at Rockhurst University’s Arrupe Hall – Room 114 (Pedro Arrupe Hall, 5351 Forest Ave, Kansas City, MO 64110). Free parking is available in the Bellarmine and Brown (A and C) lots. You can access a campus map here
