The Inclusion Conference is a FREE, one-day conference for rising junior and senior high school students. The conference will serve students in the St. Louis Metropolitan, Kansas City Metropolitan, and surrounding areas, alternating between St. Louis and Kansas City each year. The conference aims to provide students with the tools for personal and professional growth, in order to empower them to achieve personal and academic success and pursue higher education.
Students must have a minimum 2.5 grade point average to be eligible for the conference. Although priority will be given to students from under-served areas, ethnic and socioeconomic student populations, all students who are interested and may benefit from the program are encouraged to apply.
The conference will feature workshops and keynote speakers, led by successful individuals from the St. Louis Metropolitan or Kansas City Metropolitan areas who have achieved personal and professional success through their education. Topics will include information on personal empowerment and success strategies, as well as tools for academic achievement. There will also be a campus tour of our host campus and a college and resource fair for students to attend. Additionally, continental breakfast and lunch will be provided.
Specifically, the event will be held at the East Academic Building, located at 545 Garden Ave, Webster Groves, MO 63119. Parking will be available at the parking garage across from the East Academic Building, located at 568 Garden Avenue, St. Louis, Missouri 63119.
The application deadline is Friday, May 26, 2017.
